Noriega: God's Favorite
A special production that was part of the Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child franchise, The Sissy Duckling was written by Harvey Fierstein, who also voiced Elmer, the Sissy Duckling. Sharon Stone narrates, with additional voice talent provided by Ed Asner, Melissa Etheridge, Dan Butler, Andy Dick, Estelle Getty, Kathy Najimy, Stephen Root, and Debi Mazar.
Fierstein won the Humanitas® Award for Sissy... and the production also received the "Chris®" Award for Children & Youth Programming, and Eileen Mack Knight was nominated for the Artios® Award for Best Casting for Animated Voiceover.
Dionne Warwick sang Time Takes Time, the signature tune for the special.

Charms for the Easy Life
Starring Gena Rowlands, Mimi Rogers (ho also produced), and Susan May Pratt, Charms for the Easy Life tells the story of three women who live in a North Carolina town and defy the traditional roles society has assigned to them.
Starring Bob Hoskins, and directed by Robert Spottiswoode, Noriega: God's Favorite utilized no score composer. Instead, combined with score-style music composed by John Tavener and Zbigniew Preisner, 51 pieces of music -- ranging from Gregorian chants to Latin music and rock -- were stitched together to create the musical template and "score". With two Golden Reel® Award nominations, Noriega came away with a win for Best Sound Editing. Also nominated for a Prism® Award, ALMA® Award, Golden Satellite® Award for Bob Hoskins, and an Eddie® Nomination for Mark Conte (Film Editor).

Music
AT ANY COST
by Calvin Cole
The music is the other star of the film. The original songs played by Beyond Gravity (all written by Rod Taylor, assisted by Bruce Taylor) drive the film. The music and words feel as if they are coming from Eddie Mills’ character and are the most real aspect of this movie. The soundtrack, which also includes new songs from Barenaked Ladies and Eagle-Eye Cherry is a must buy as well.
Original
Broadway Cast
Recorded live at Lincoln Center, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Taj Mahal contributed their considerable talents to studio-recorded guest appearances. The enhanced CD includes a narrative history of the blues by Whoopi Goldberg, Taj Mahal, and Ron Taylor, as well as several dozen historical photos.
